About PICET Group
The PICET (Paediatric/Peripartum Intensive Care Education and Training) Group is a not-for-profit organization, which was formed to create and organize Medical and Midwifery/Nursing educational events.
We aim to deliver high quality education and training opportunities. Our volunteer members originated from within the Paediatric Intensive Care unit at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, but have now expanded to include others with common goals. All funds raised will be used to sponsor professional development activities for Nurses and Midwives.

In association with Paediatric Cardiologists and Echocardiography technicians, PICET group is starting first of its kind paediatric Crtical care echocardiography course. This course is aimed at senior fellows and consultants working in Paediatric critical care as an introduction and upskilling of clinical echo skills. It will be over 2 days including mix of lectures and hands on workshop on children with common paediatric cardiac conditions frequently needing critical care.
